Providing limitless futures and opportunities for students

Once your child starts their journey at Pudsey Sixth Form College, you will be invited to regular parent meetings and stay connected with regular updates.
We value our relationships with parents and guardians, and recognise your important role in supporting our students throughout their education.

  • 1:1 coaching for every student

Every student will be assigned a coach who will support them during their education journey – monitoring their progress, development and meeting them for a weekly tutorial. You will be able to contact your child’s coach at any time throughout the year to arrange a meeting, should you have any queries or concerns.

  • Parental reports and correspondence

You will be able to access our online portal via our website at any time of the year. Here, you can find information regarding their attendance, progress and assessment grades for each subject.

If your child is below 18 years of age, we will send you a full written progress report covering each of their subjects, with feedback from each tutor.

You will also receive our termly newsletter brimming with good news stories, upcoming events, opportunities for your child and what’s been happening around campus. We also want to welcome you to share the success of our students at events held throughout the year.

Parents’ evenings and events

At key academic intervals throughout the year, you will be invited to attend Parents’ Evenings to discuss your child’s progress with their subject teachers. Additionally, our Parents’ Progression Evening offers valuable insights into future opportunities, with expert advice on ‘next steps’ and how your child can maximise their potential.

We also want to welcome you to share the success of our students at events held throughout the year. The annual Awards evening, for example, is an important date in the calendar to which you are warmly invited.
