The Pudsey Sixth Form College School Liaison team is dedicated to creating connections between education providers across Yorkshire and the College, with the aim of inspiring students and demonstrating the wealth of opportunities open to them beyond their GCSEs.
We create and deliver sessions and activities to help students discover their post-16 options and plan for their future. From our sixth form entry requirements to key application deadlines, we help schools with their careers education, offering advice and impartial expert guidance to a broad range of students.
Our student activities focus on:
If you are a school or provider in the local authority, our friendly team of further education experts can help you deliver up-to-date information to your students, so that they can make an informed choice about what to do after they finish their GCSEs.
Our Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) qualified team can support you with careers events and parents’ evenings. We also offer drop-in sessions and can deliver informative assemblies at your convenience, including workshops on how to make a sixth form application and sessions preparing students for their interview.
From qualification types to student finance and applications to student life – our presentations are informative and accessible. If you would like more information or to organise a visit, please contact transitionteam@pudseysixthformcollege.ac.uk
We’re visiting Co-op Academy Priesthorpe, Crawshaw Academy and Leeds West Academy this school year, amongst others – we can tell you more and answer your questions!
